Val Stella Alpina valley, skiing with ease
From the valley floor of Colfosco, a state-of-the-art cable car links the slopes of the Sellaronda with the small yet well-known valley called Val Stella Alpina - a sun-kissed basin surrounded by the peaks of the Sassongher and Ciampac in the north and extending southwards boasting a magnificent view of the Val Mezdí valley and the Sella Group. Set within this Dolomite backdrop are the vast downhill slopes, covering a total length of 5.5 km and suited both for families with little children as well as more leisurely skiers.
