Badiamusica - Trio Erinus
Concert of the Badiamusica Festival with Trio Erinus: Sonja Wallnöfer (saxophone, voice), Alex Designori (piano, clarinet, voice), and Anja Theiner (saxophone, voice).
Trio Erinus, consisting of Anja Theiner, Sonja Wallnöfer, and Alex Designori, came together during their studies at the Tiroler Landeskonservatorium in Innsbruck.
From the very beginning, they have been united by a shared passion for chamber music, a curiosity for exploring new expressive boundaries, and, of course, their common roots in South Tyrol. The young ensemble focuses primarily on original chamber music for saxophone, while also engaging with transcriptions and arrangements from other styles and instrumental combinations.
The trio’s timbral exploration is shaped by the music of their homeland and includes electronic elements and the performers’ own voices. The result is a sound world that seamlessly blends tradition with innovation.
