Welcome to the celebration of St. Leonhard, the patron saint of horses and horsemen. Rait de San Linert, or the St. Leonhard horse ride. It’s autumn in Badia. The first Sunday in November hosts an appointment of purest Ladin tradition, a spectacular event to behold.
The "Leonardiritt" begins on Saturday with a special evening dedicated to Ladin music with local groups:

Gastronomic specialties will be served in the tent.
On Sunday the festivities continue with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 09:00 a.m. and with the horse parade in honour of San Leonardo, patron saint of horses and riders, with horses and traditional costumes from South Tyrol at 10:45 a.m..
The music bands from Moena, St. Georgen and Badia as well as the dance groups Bal Popolar Val Badia with the little Salvans, Bal Popolar de Fascia and the Grop de Bal Marmoleda.will take part in the parade.
The festival continues in the events hall and in the tent with gastronomic specialties and musical entertainment.
The event will take place even in case of bad weather.
