Roda dles Saus - Flavours week

A week dedicated to true flavors. The kind that are born in the mountains, crafted by skilled hands and recipes passed down through generations. Dishes that need no introduction, they speak for themselves, with aromas that greet you and tastes that linger.

During the opening day, the stoves come alive and the kitchen becomes a stage. Chefs prepare their specialties live, revealing every move, every trick, every secret. It’s the perfect moment to taste, explore, and be surprised. Here, it’s not just about eating, it’s about experiencing something that feels like home, even if it’s your first time here.

The mountain huts of the La Crusc Skitour Ütia L'Tamá, Ütia Lé, Ütia Nagler, La Crusc-Santa Croce and Ranch da André offer traditional dishes of the Ladin culture, all dedicated to a local product.

The precious recipes have been passed down from generation to generation and are based on simple ingredients and identified by their genuine taste. Try the unique and genuine flavours of the Ladin tradition during the whole week.

But that's not all!

On the occasion of the opening event, each hut will present its special dish during a cooking show, where the chefs will demonstrate how to prepare the delicious Ladin specialities.

Enjoy our typical food and immerse yourself in our Ladin world!

Ütia Nagler:

Liver dumplings with goulash and sauerkraut

Ütia L'Tamá:

Typical pancake with honey from the beekeeper Milio or with homemade cranberry jam

Ranch da André:

Farmer’s Gröstl with highland beef from the own farm and cabbage

Ütia La Crusc:

Beef tagliata from the Lüch da Ciampidel farm, served with potatoes and mixed salad

Ütia Lé:

Fried grey cheese from the Chi Pra farm in sesame batter with mashed potatoes and caramelised onions

Getting there

Follow the SS244 Val Badia road towards Badia, continue on the San Linert street until you reach the La Crusc 1 cable car.

The huts can all also be reached on foot, either from the village of Badia or from La Val.

In order to encourage sustainable mobility, choose environmentally friendly means of transportation, such as public transport.

Good to know

Why is it worth coming?

Because here, every dish has a soul. They’re stories from the mountains, crafted by skilled hands and passed down through generations. It’s not just eating, it’s being part of something real.

Can I watch the chefs prepare their dishes live?

Yes. During the opening celebration, chefs cook right in front of you, sharing their secrets and bringing each dish to life with aromas, movements, and flavours.

Is it only for those who love Ladin cuisine?

Not at all. It’s for anyone who loves to discover, taste, and be surprised. Even if you’ve never tried these flavours before, you’ll leave with something unforgettable.

Are there dishes for all tastes?

Every dish has its own story and character. From simple, comforting flavours to more bold and distinctive ones, there’s something for anyone who values authenticity.
