“A” Game in the Dolomites
Alta Badia, a miracle golf club
Nine holes and a golf course that is simply amazing
Situated at 1,700 metres above sea level, the Tranrüs golf course is just a short walk from the village of Corvara, in the direction of the Campolongo Pass, and ranks among the highest located golf courses in Europe. Boasting a marvellous view of the Dolomites' peaks, it features only 45 metres of difference in elevation. The design of the holes and the succession of gentle slopes turn it into a pleasant course that ensures an enjoyable and creative game. The area stretches over 2,730 metres and includes 9 holes - overall par 72: a remarkable terrain for experienced players, whereas novices can enjoy practising on a putting green and a driving range of incomparable beauty. One small but meaningful fact: hole no. 5 was awarded as Italy's most scenic hole. A wooden clubhouse hosts the administration office as well as changing rooms with showers, a small hall and the Alta Badia Golf Club, which runs the golf course staffed by professional instructors and which is also available to organise individual tournaments. This is where you can enjoy golf at high altitudes, from June to October. Come in.

Charing, golf and Alta Badia
Social values, passion for sports, gastronomy and local traditions
Launched in 2014, Charing has grown into a meeting point for lovers of golf, the mountains and fine culinary experiences. An event characterised by shared social values, passion for sports, gastronomy as well as local traditions. It’s motto: playing golf while breathing in the crisp air of the Dolomites, marvelling at the panorama and savouring local delicacies while performing good deeds.
Charing found its dimension by pursuing the call to “take care of the other”, which is why its primary partner is the Serafico Institute in Assisi, an internationally-recognised facility providing treatment for physical and psychological disabilities of children and young adults. Sense of involvement and responsibility is of utmost importance to Charing, that over the years has witnessed the participation of many famous personalities in the initiative. Among others: footballers Beppe Dossena, Jonathan Binotto, Attilio Lombardo, Mauro Tassotti, Michele Paramatti; skiers Kristian Ghedina, Much Mair, Manfred Mölgg, Pepi Ploner, Giacomo and Roberto Erlacher and, last but not least, Costantino Rocca - source of national pride in the history of international golf.
